International Investment Mining and Metallurgy Forum: A Platform for the Exchange of Expert Opinions and Professional Experience
On October 29, 2024, the first International Investment Mining and Metallurgy Forum and Exhibition of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe under the auspices of "TAJIKISTAN MINING 2024."
The First International Investment Mining and Metallurgy Forum and Exhibition of Tajikistan was organized by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, jointly with partners in the mining industry, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event participants noted that its primary purpose is to support sustainable industrial development, renew and expand regional cooperation ties, intensify and develop cooperation and partnerships in industry, and thereby achieve the fourth strategic goal—the accelerated industrialization of the country.
The forum is the first leading event in the field of mining and metallurgy in the history of sovereign Tajikistan. The event provided an effective platform for exchanging opinions and professional experience among industry experts, discussing the development prospects of the country's mining and metallurgy market, innovations in equipment and technologies for mineral extraction and processing, and enhancing the industry's investment potential and effective cooperation between specialized companies.
The forum also discussed development prospects for the mining and metallurgy industry and effective cooperation strategies, including the construction of mining and processing plants and metallurgical plants, modernization and expansion of industry enterprises, the development of new deposits, and the strengthening of regional and international ties.
Heads of industrial and mining ministries and agencies from various countries, international financial institutions, transnational industry companies, and the business community arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the first International Investment Mining and Metallurgy Forum and Industrial Exhibition of Tajikistan.
At the opening ceremony, it was noted that Tajikistan's mining industry has a robust mineral resource base, sufficient in volume to ensure the industry's long-term development. This factor creates a solid foundation for the development of the mining industry.
